TS-433eU: 1U shallow NAS with NPU acceleration
The QNAP TS-433eU is a 1U shallow rack private cloud solution that provides local storage and enhanced security to reduce dependency on external networks. The TS-433eU is equipped with a Neural Processing Unit (NPU) to enhance the facial and object recognition capabilities of QNAP QuMagie.

Improved AI performance
The NPU (Neural Processing Unit), designed to accelerate AI tasks, speeds up organisation and classification in the QuMagie smart album, as well as CPU workloads when executing AI-based queries. When you transfer a large number of photos to the TS-433eU, you'll benefit from photo processing performance provided by the NPU.
Easy data access
- Map the folders on your TS-433eU NAS as network drives on your computer and access files as if they were stored locally.
- Cross-platform File Sharing: Supporting SMB/CIFS, AFP, WebDAV and NFS protocols, the TS-433eU enables seamless file sharing and transfer between Windows, macOS and Linux computers without compatibility issues.
- Secure remote access: Use QVPN to create a secure virtual private network to access the TS-433eU.
Enhanced security
- Security and risk assessment: Security Center proactively detects NAS status and unusual file activity, and provides instant protective measures.
- Centralized Notification Management: Centrally manage system events and alert notifications with the Notification Center to stay up-to-date with NAS status.
- Block malware attacks with Malware Remover that regularly scans your NAS. Aisni, if malware is detected, infected files are immediately blocked and deleted to ensure NAS security.
