This Drivestor 2 Gen2 features a 1.7 GHz processor, which is faster than the 1.4 GHz processor found in the first generation of Drivestor NAS devices. This upgraded processor also contains an upgraded iGPU that offers significant improvements in terms of functionality and transcoding performance, making the Drivestor 2 Gen2 the best value for money NAS. It is also supported by 1 GB of DDR4 RAM. With its impressive multimedia capabilities, it represents an affordable storage and streaming solution for gamers, streamers and fans of 4K UHD content. ADM upgrade for threat protection
ASUSTOR has officially upgraded ADM to support Hybrid PQC TLS encryption certified by the US NIST. This upgrade incorporates the official version of the Kyber algorithm, X25519+ML-KEM 768, and, starting with ADM 5.1, automatically enables this feature via TLS 1.3 without any configuration. This feature protects against the "Collect Now, Decrypt Later" threat. If your browser supports PQC, it will immediately establish a secure connection encrypted by Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), and the connection status will be clearly displayed via the ADM interface, ensuring that the data stored on your ASUSTOR NAS will be resistant to future quantum computing threats.
