Nimbustor Gen2 offers four M.2 PCIe 3.0 slots for NVMe SSDs that support storage, caching or a mix of both. The Nimbustor 2 Gen 2 uses the Intel Jasper Lake Celeron N5105 Quad-Core CPU, making the Nimbustor 2 Gen 2 a responsive NAS that's at home in any environment. The Nimbustor 2 Gen 2 comes with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, expandable up to 8GB.
With real-time 10-bit 4K H.265 hardware decoding, the Nimbustor Gen2 plays high-definition video via LooksGood or an HDMI-compatible display without latency for an immersive digital experience.

I'm really pleased with this NAS, which is very fast and offers a huge range of possibilities. We'll have to wait and see, of course, but for the moment it's working wonders in my network of five PCs, including 3 gaming PCs, not to mention smartphones.
As this is my first NAS, my opinion may be subjective as I don't have the experience of the competition.
After reading a lot of reviews and tests, I chose this model for its excellent value for money.
It's got a good quad-core Intel CPU, expandable RAM, 2 HDD bays and 4 M.2 slots. All for an unbeatable price!
I use it in Raid 0 on the M.2 slots and I've set up an automatic backup on a 3.5" disk.
I recommend this NAS 100%!
