Configuration is easy, and the management interface (DSM) is really well designed.
It's intuitive yet allows advanced configuration of the many services and options available on the NAS.
The NAS (with an SSD in my case) is very quiet.
I would have appreciated a slightly more compact version (there's a lot of space), but I suppose the limit is the size of the fan at the back.
I'd recommend it.
Useful for backups of all the computers, tablets and smartphones in the house. I'm taking off one star because I don't get an exact backup of my documents (the directories on the NAS are not the same size as the source directories). I may have to contact Synology support.
