The LDLC adventure started in January 1996 in Lyon (France) when Laurent de la Clergerie, young economics and electronics engineer, realized all the Internet possibilities.
As a tech passionate and DIY enthusiast, he strongly believes in the development of e-commerce and decides to try his luck. He was dreaming about a world where computers, PC components and softwares could be available at anytime... and that's what happened !
In 1997, LDLC.com was born!
