Maximum compatibility and guaranteed scalability - The MegaRAID 9560-16i is a next-generation RAID adapter designed for bandwidth-hungry environments. The first in its class to offer a PCIe Gen 4.0 interface for host and storage, it is based on the high-density SAS3916 RAID-on-Chip. This model ensures full compatibility with existing PCIe SFF-8639 (U.2) backplanes, while taking full advantage of U.3 backplanes thanks to SerDes Tri-Mode technology. This technology enables seamless management of NVMe, SAS and SATA drives in a single slot, while complying with the SFF-TA-10001 specification and the UBM management framework.
Uncompromising performance and protection - The MegaRAID 9560-16i can connect up to 240 SAS/SATA or 32 NVMe devices per controller, and can be easily integrated into rack servers thanks to its low-profile format and SAS side connectors. It supports critical high-speed applications via PCIe 4.0 connectivity and offers a full range of RAID levels (0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60) to combine performance and security. In SDS environments, JBOD mode is also supported. For additional data protection, CacheVault technology ensures cache backup in the event of failure.
