The ICY DOCK EXLink MB309A is a high-performance M.2 NVMe to SlimSAS 4i PCIe adapter card (SFF-8654) designed to connect embedded M.2 SSD slots to enterprise-class removable NVMe storage solutions. Designed to simplify complex system configurations, the MB309A enables system integrators and workstation assemblers to create a seamless NVMe workflow.a smooth, fast and modular NVMe workflow using ICY DOCK mobile racks and cables - no more guessing about component compatibility or managing multiple vendors.
Instead of tying your M.2 SSD to fixed internal storage or relying on limited expansion card slots, the MB309A allows you to convert an integrated PCIe M.2 slot into a removable NVMe storage array by connecting it to any of ICY DOCK's SlimSAS mobile racks and certified cables.
TheEXLink MB309A features a PCIe Gen 4.0 redriver and PCIe 100 MHz clock buffer, designed to maintain signal clarity and stability over long SlimSAS PCB tracks and cable lengths.
