The StarTech.com PEX2S553LP card adds two high-performance RS232 serial ports to your desktop or server to connect your serial devices and equipment. It can be installed in any PCI Express slot to provide you with two UART 16950 RS232 serial ports. It provides a convenient solution for connecting your modern or older equipment to newer computer systems that do not have RS232 ports. The serial card complies with the PCI Express 1 specification and is compatible with PCI Express x1, x2, x4, x8 and x16 slots.
