    No hardware sleep mode on the usb

    Relatively disappointed with this hardware installed on an asus P6tWS professional motherboard, indeed this system should allow me to connect a QNAP TR-004.
    However, the usb system does not allow for a USB-based standby mode when my server is switched off, so QNAP does not perceive that the PC is switched off and therefore does not put the disks into standby mode (so they run non-stop, which generates wear and tear and energy wastage...).
    Conclusion: functional product, speeds barely faster than a usb 2 on the motherboard which is a surprising test (carried out for my hard drives connected to USB and supporting USB3)
    Finally for any device that bases its standby on power from the USB ports, this product is not suitable.
