Card usable on very old machines.

Adapter used on an old motherboard from 2006 (PCIe 1.0 bus!!! and PCIe 4.0 compatible m2 card)
Card recognised by recent Windows and Linux (Debian 13),
but not recognised by the old bios.
It is therefore impossible to boot directly on the m2 card, you have to boot via an old disk
(/boot partition on the old disk and the rest of the Linux on the m2 disk).
Faster than the old sata on the motherboard. Recoverable investment (m2 card) for another machine.

    Works perfectly

My motherboard, which was supposed to support the M.2 Ultra, didn't do so despite double-checking the connection and updating the firmware.
This adapter has enabled me to use my new SSD, and that's great.

    Works as expected

installed on a motherboard that doesn't have an nvme port, and everything worked as expected.
The disk could even be used as a boot disk (depending on your CM, this may not necessarily be the case).
