The PEXM2SAT32N1 adapter card from StarTech.com is one of the only cards that supports both PCI-E M.2 SSDs and SATA M.2 SSDs. Use of the M.2 PCI-E Nvme mode requires a compatible motherboard (Intel H170/Z170 and H97/Z97/X99 (some models only) and AMD A320/B350/X370/X399 chipsets) and a Windows 8 or higher operating system. Use of the two M.2 SATA slots is only possible when the SATA cords are plugged in and connected to the motherboard.
