The ICY DOCK ExpressSlot Elite MB840M5P-B transforms a 4x, 8x or 16x PCIe expansion slot into a removable NVMe M.2 SSD bay, enabling fast and easy SSD swapping without the need to open your computer case. The MB840M5P-B is designed to harness the power of PCIe 5.0 and offers ultra-fast transfer speeds of 128 Gbps, twice the bandwidth of PCIe 4.0 (64 Gbps) and more than 20 times that of SATA (6 Gbps).
Designed for PCIe 5.0, 4.0 and 3.0 x8/x16 slots, this high-speed NVMe solution ensures maximum flexibility for enterprise workstations, high-performance computing, AI training and data-intensive applications. The removable M.2 NVMe SSD platter (MB840TP-B) supports standard M.2 sizes including 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110, ensuring maximum SSD compatibility.
