The quad-core TS-431X3-4G provides four drive bays for high-capacity storage and 4GB of RAM. With the integrated 10GbE SFP+ port, the TS-431X3-4G delivers the high bandwidth required for intensive data transmission. Combined with QNAP's 10GbE switch, you can easily establish a high-speed 10GbE network environment with an affordable budget. The TS-431X3-4G provides full local, offsite and cloud backup and also supports Snapshot technology to help you create a reliable backup and disaster recovery plan. In the event of a system failure or accidental file deletion, you can quickly restore the system to its normal state. The TS-431X3-4G comes with lockable disk trays, which prevent disks from being accidentally dropped or removed, resulting in data loss.

Quad-Core Processor for More Performance
Powered by a quad-core AnnapurnaLabs AL-314 1.7GHz processor with 4GB DDR3L RAM (expandable up to 8GB), the TS-431X3 includes a 10GbE SFP+ port, a 2.5GbE RJ45 port, and a Gigabit port. This allows you to take advantage of higher transfer speeds using existing RJ45 CAT5e or CAT6 cables in your network environment. Combined with QNAP's QSW series network switches, you can easily establish an affordable high-speed network. Also, you can use your laptop with a QNAP USB 3.2 Gen 1 to 5GbE adapter (QNA-UC5G1T) or your desktop with a QNAP 5GbE network expansion card (QXG-5G1T-111C) and connect directly to the TS-431X3's 2.5GbE port to enjoy up to 2.5 times faster transfer speeds.
Multi-point File Backup, Access and Synchronisation
HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) consolidates data backup, recovery, and synchronization, integrated with the high-speed 10GbE connectivity of TS-431X3-4G, you can easily backup or synchronize data to another QNAP NAS, remote server, or cloud storage to deploy a reliable disaster recovery solution. Any file transferred to the TS-431X3-4G will be made available on all linked devices, such as desktops, laptops and mobile devices. You can also synchronise shared folders or create team folders to enhance team collaboration.
Boost your productivity with QNAP applications
QNAP File Station provides centralized file management that allows you to view and manage files on your TS-431X3-4G and other storage or devices (such as USB storage or mobile devices). Qfiling can help you automate file organisation, while Qsirch can speed up file searches. You can also use the Qfile mobile app to access NAS files from a mobile device.- Qfiling automates the organisation of files. Files are automatically stored in folders according to your settings

Protect your sensitive data with file encryption
When you share sensitive or confidential files on TS-431X3-4G, you can enhance the data security by using File Station to encrypt them into .qenc files and set a password. Recipients of the files must download and install QENC Decrypter on their computers and enter the password to decrypt, view and use the encrypted .qenc files.
Protect your data from malware with Snapshots
Snapshots help protect your data by recording the entire NAS system state and metadata. If a file is accidentally deleted or modified, you can use the snapshots in Storage and Snapshot Manager or File Station to quickly restore the files to their previously saved states. QNAP snapshots are block-based and save only the changed data. Not only do they save storage space, but they also reduce the time required to back up and restore data. The TS-431X3-4G supports up to 64 snapshots per volume or LUN, and up to 256 snapshots in total.
