ADM 4.0 System

ADM 4.0 brings a range of intuitive design changes to the ADM operating system. The improved user interface brings a new aesthetic dark mode that allows recording and preservation of OLED displays. The Drivestor Pro easily handles multitasking using its 1GB of DDR4 memory ensuring that virtually all tasks on an ASUSTOR NAS run smoothly.

The Drivestor 2 and 4 come with 1GB of memory. Media mode is a new feature that efficiently reserves 512MB of RAM for multimedia tasks, as various tasks require large amounts of RAM. With dedicated RAM for multimedia, video playback remains smooth and is not interrupted by other tasks

    A reliable, easy-to-use NAS

    Arthur C. Clarke, author of the book 2001: A Space Odyssey, said that "computer writing is the most reliable... second only to writing in sand".

    With this in mind, I bought an ASUSTOR Drivestor 4 AS1104T NAS for my DTP department, so I can keep a backup of my various PC workstations. RAID 5 management is a plus in terms of security, the interface is very easy to use and the programming of start-up or shutdown at weekends is a plus.

    Combined with 4 x 4TB Seagate IronWolf disks, this is really excellent equipment.
