It's a cheap product that I don't really trust.
The first time I plugged it in, I smelled a strong odour of electronics that were heating up.
The UPS is not recognised by my NAS and the software supplied, which dates from 2008, does not start on my PC (Win10 64bits).
How to calculate the power required? How to value the power consumed by the connected devices? How to define the expected autonomy as a result?
Being on a very disturbed electrical system (power cuts, voltage drops or rises, frequency variations...), we needed such a system to avoid loss of internet connections and damage to our computer systems.
It does not heat up excessively and is very quiet, unlike the one I had before.
With the following product: MeanWell Rail Din Power Supply 12v 1.25a DR-15-12 at the input of the BOX, even the most severe disturbances are no longer a problem for us.
Note: The inverter smelled like new for 15 days, and now it doesn't smell at all.
