Seems ok but what a stench!

The device has a very strong smell of "chemistry" or burnt plastic. After 3 weeks of use the smell has faded slightly but it is still there!
Is this smell harmful to your health, I hope not!

    effective protection of my NAS

I am "at the end of the line" and we have suffered frequent power cuts, even outside of storms. We couldn't let the NAS go through this, it's dangerous for the hardware itself as well as for the data.
This inverter is good value for money, but I'm not sure if it will be taken into account by my NAS as it is not on the compatibility list and I haven't tested it.
This does not prevent it from protecting my NAS perfectly from all the outages that have occurred since its installation.
The next step is indeed to try the connection with the NAS... to follow
