These are green LEDs on the front. They light up the room as if it were daylight.
It's not possible to turn them off; you can just dim them by a threshold, but they sometimes return to their initial power for no reason ... it's also a totally unnecessary consumption of electricity at a time when government campaigns have been asking us for years to turn off our "nightlights" ...
The documentation isn't great.
The (configuration?) application doesn't exist (for Macos).
It's still a simple APC: mains socket on one side, computer sockets on the other.
I had instant power cuts for several months. Now that I have the APC, there are no more power cuts ... EDF must have finished the work... So I can't judge its "effectiveness".
Unnecessary purchase?
Does what it was made for, ie protect devices.
As someone said in a previous comment, the green light around the front is really strong. It's a real shame I can't turn it off. I took off one star because of that.
They talk to us about energy saving, admittedly with computers we're not really there yet, but adding a light that will make people consume slightly more (and in passing also slightly increase the cost of manufacture and therefore the purchase price), I find really pointless.
Otherwise, it's a good product.
Plugged in, followed the recommendation in the instructions for charging the battery 24 hours before plugging in the device that is supposed to protect. The load connected to it was twice its power. Worked for a few hours, then "jumped" the network of sockets in my living room. It emitted a continuous beep until it was unplugged, but the button on the front did nothing. Fault found twice, so back to the shop = I don't want my house to go up in smoke because of an electrical problem with this inverter.
Good integration for a Synology network NAS.
On the other hand makes too much unnecessary light, it could be corrected p
