UPS chosen to power and protect tower, screen, box and printer. Delivered on time in satisfactory packaging.
No problems after 4 months of use.
The only downside is that configuring USB communication with my Linux PC, using nut-2.8, is tricky. Dedicated software from Eaton would have been appreciated.
I already own 3 inverters of this brand, and this one makes 4.
If we stay with this type, the ECO and PRO versions will be the same.
The PC software is bogus and only allows you to display and connect to 1 inverter at a time.
The software is dated, old, full of bugs and unusable for multiple inverters.
Secondly, the larger the capacity of your inverter, the noisier it will be, so it shouldn't be used in living areas.
Thirdly, when there are power cuts, they sound very loud, which is normal but good to know.
Read the instructions carefully to find out where to plug in.
Good inverter, lousy PC software, easy to use.
The Eaton 650 is a good product. The batteries started up well automatically in case of a power cut. I've been using it for a while now and it's a great product. I have taken one star off because LDLC can do a lot better with the packaging... The box was simply sent as is, without any additional protection.
Inverter as expected.
Larger than expected, but very quiet.

The inverter is easy to install and seems to work without problems
The only drawback is that the USB connection that allows the software to control the inverter from the PC prevents the PC from going into standby mode: it goes into standby and comes out a few seconds later.
The problem seems to have been known for a long time if you look a bit on the Internet
I contacted Eaton support about this, no answer...
The workaround is obvious, but a bit painful: you just have to unplug the USB cable before putting the PC to sleep.
