    Silent, fast, except on ignition

Disk enabling high read/write speeds, silent but....I lose nearly ten seconds during the 'preparation' of the disk when the computer is switched on, where it has to check the many platters... Sent the disk in suitable packaging, thanks ldlc!

    There's plenty of room

18Tb without noise, WD quality, a bit expensive but it's worth it.
    LDLC shipping irreproachable as usual.

    It turns...

2nd HDD of 18TO (WD Purple), intensive tests carried out as soon as I unpacked it, then transfer of the data, it runs well as it should.
It scratches a little, but not disturbing.
At the beginning, a lot of operations managed by the disk itself (+-1h30 in total) but not anymore after.
Heats up well (max 39°) even when working hard.
