Through discussions with NAS manufacturers, Toshiba recognised the need for high reliability drives that address today's data storage and retrieval requirements, including streaming, backup and archiving. The drive, which can support multiple multi-RAID systems with up to 8 hard drives, enables reliable storage and use of large volumes of data by multiple customers 24/7.

Therefore, today's NAS drives guarantee high data transfer rates and simultaneous upload and download 24/7. I had two drives (same brand) fail in a short time on a NAS, so I chose to put two different drives including this one as a replacement.
No installation problems. The NAS is noisier (during disk accesses) now but I couldn't tell if it's this disk or the other one that's causing it.
installed in a Nas Asustor AS6302T very quiet we only hear the disks that scratch constantly and are very noisy, we think we are back to the computers of the 90's :)
