    Reliable, robust

    The first time I saw the hard drives I was impressed by the physical volume. It's quite imposing. After all, they're 8TB and I think that justifies the price of the enterprise series.     These Synology disks are manufactured by Toshiba and are in fact N300s, which are cheaper to buy.
    The advantage is that any drive updates are built into the DSM, so they're easy to do, which is not the case with the Toshiba drives.
