I formatted the disk in EXT4. Here are the performances displayed by Gnome Disk Utility under Ubuntu Mate 22-04
Read speed 428.7 MB/s
Write speed 120 MB/s
Access time 0,61 ms
Only my SSDs give higher values
5 identical disks on a zpool managed data backup block under bsd. The system allows 2 disks to crash without loss of data. As a matter of principle I replace all 5 disks every 4 years as they are in operation 18 hours a day!
This disk cannot be used for cloning, the sectors are 4096e and the WD of my PC has 512e sectors, so it is impossible despite the good explanations of your technical service.
I am very pleased with the service and the quality of the product. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to buy a new product.
