Hello, I'm giving you a rating of 4 stars out of 5 for the simple reason that overall it has a good sound, the microphone is of good quality, it's light and doesn't hurt the ears. The only downside is that the earcups are a little too light, which means that they don't stick completely to the ears, which can lead to a slight loss of sound.
Otherwise it's quite comfortable.
After 6 months of use (by my son) :
The +'s:
- I find the sound correct.
- The microphone is flexible and allows a good adaptation of the distance to the mouth
- It is not Bluetooth but RF. The Bluetooth is sometimes difficult to connect depending on the device. In this case the recognition of the module is good under W10 and works under Linux. The coverage distance is the same as for Bluetooth, about 10 m.
- The battery lasts well and is in accordance with the specified duration, about 10 hours.
- The headset has good coverage on the ears (but is slightly uncomfortable).
- The materials are of good quality, the buttons are also ergonomic.
- The jack-jack cable is not too short and the spdif connector (it seems to me).
The - :
- Helmet a bit too big at minimum setting, even for an adult.
- A bit heavy but it's still ok to use.
- The counterpart of the RF : there is a transmitter module to connect on a usb port. This uses a port and is an extra item on the desk.
Conclusion: This headset is correct with a good autonomy. The disadvantages are not prohibitive for a good quality / price ratio.
Given the price, I would have liked to have a headset without having to connect a receiver station. Indeed, I think a small dongle would have been enough.
The sound is not crazy and there is, when the headphones are on, a continuous noise.
