Audio very good but noise reduction needs to be reviewed
As the title says: the noise reduction of this microphone (or at least of my model) is very bad. This one is "hardware", the headset software doesn't allow to set it (at least according to the information I found on the net, and I didn't find anything in SteelSeries GG to improve this).
However, if you use it on Discord for example, Discord's noise canceller will do the job that the headset doesn't. Nevertheless, on Skype which I use a lot, the difference is noticeable.
Another oddity of the microphone is that by default, the microphone feedback is on, and can only be turned off by downloading SteelSeries GG, which is a bit of a shame.
Otherwise, the sound quality is very good. You can change the sound from SteelSeries GG but this can lead to crackling.
The headphones are comfortable and they isolate really well.
In short, for listening to music/playing, it does its job perfectly. And with a little software help (SteelSeries GG and a noise reducer), it is clearly the best headset I've had so far.
