1. As a Windows user, I couldn't care less about an engraved keyboard for use on Mac OS: a bunch of keys has up to 4 inscriptions...
2. Options+ lets you redefine some of them, but only as an overlay, because try assigning Alt+Shift+PrintScreen to access high contrast mode on a keyboard that no longer has a PrintScreen key, because of course passing an ASCII code doesn't work, in some cases even disabling it, such as the session lock located just above the - on the numeric keypad, flanked by a key for... launching a calculator...
3. If, like me, your eyesight is a problem, you should know that 4 to 5 days of backlight use will drain the battery, which will obviously have to be replaced by a technician (if that's planned...), especially as no information on its type THEREFORE its lifespan is available, either in the documentation or online.
4. The manufacturing process is also problematic, as this keyboard is designed to be under your nose: positioned at forearm length, the light leakage at the base of the keys generates a "noise" that is detrimental to reading the keys, which is the last straw.
5. On the software side, this keyboard is said to be "unifying", whereas Bolt, another logitech technology that makes my logitech M325 mouse unifying, previously recognised by its software, is now seen as absent by options+ or "other peripherals/wireless device" by the windows peripheral manager.
Worse still: both now prevent my computer from remaining in standby mode, forcing it to come out after 30 seconds.
6. Finally, what can you say about customer support forcing you to use a robot to get through to a technician who sounds hardly any different and ends up telling you, after forcing you to repeat and repeat until he understands, that you need to contact Microsoft because the problem is with Windows...
