The 15mm thick 2.5" drives provide capacities ranging from 3TB to 5TB, the highest capacity 2.5" hard drives on the market for external or all-in-one storage solutions.
The 15mm thickness allows for thinner all-in-one desktop designs and helps reduce heat generation and vibration. Thanks to their low start-up current, the 3TB to 5TB drives can be used in existing low-power systems, such as external USB 2 enclosures, and at the same time help reduce power consumption. The 5TB drives can store over 1.25 million songs and 600 hours of HD video.

This hard drive, easily installed in an ASUS NUC 12 PRO PC, is designed to store documents and downloads in order to limit write cycles on the SSD, which is reserved for the OS.

Not as fast as an SSD but sufficient for data and less expensive.
