After one and a half years of normal use in a tower, the disk squeaks a lot when writing and since it has been working for a month, it has only 4300 hours of operation. In spite of everything, the tests on crystaldisck and with the software of WD do not reveal defective sectors but windows ask me to restart to repair the disc 2 times. Quite strange. If anyone has an explanation I'm interested, thank you.
These 4 WD RED PLUS 4TB HDDs in RAID 5 provide 11TB of reliable storage for my Synology DS423+ NAS. Their operation generates no operating noise and no large heat dissipation (less than 30°C).

The drives arrived on time and in perfect condition. The installation is quick and easy thanks to the coding and my NAS server recognised and integrated them immediately. I recommend it.
Installed in a synology ds220 + the drives work perfectly. At rest they are perfectly silent, but when writing they make an incredible noise. I just hope it's not a sign of hardware weakness.
Good value for money, and good value for money compared to the web, also LDLC needs to modernise its IT.

I suffered the inconvenience of a 100 km trip without getting my hard drive, fortunately the sales department sent it afterwards. However, I did not feel that this comment was taken with interest
Sure the disc has its heads parked during transport, but a simple individual thin cardboard package is a bit scary. Especially when the discs are placed directly on the outer carton (the embossed papers were both on top).
