It encrypts the data on your hard drive and uses the latest biometric technology to limit user access through fingerprint access.The external hard drive/SSD enclosure offers reliable protection against data leakage through secure data encryption. It uses 256-bit hardware encryption based on the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256), one of the most secure encryption methods.With this encrypted hard drive enclosure, you can limit access to data to predefined individuals, storing up to eight fingerprints for fingerprint access. There is also a master password that makes it easy to set up, manage and change fingerprint profiles.
Add portable external data storage to your USB-A or USB-C laptop or tablet with the encrypted hard drive/SSD enclosure (two cables included). The enclosure is powered by your device's USB port, so no external power is required. Your 2.5" SATA drive (7 mm to 9.5 mm high) fits easily into the sleek and durable aluminum enclosure, which is ventilated to ensure optimal operating temperature.
