TheICY BOX IB-1817M-C31 supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in lengths of 22 x 30 mm, 22 x 42 mm, 22 x 60 mm and 22 x 80 mm. It's almost as easy to use as it is to install any drivers. It is therefore easy to use on any computer.
The design of theIB-1817M-C31 is designed for optimal cooling. It features a patented plate that transfers waste heat directly from the SSD to the case to effectively cool the SSD.
With theIB-1817M-C31, your sensitive data on the installed M.2 SSD can be protected against any changes by a switch. This write-protection switch can be moved to the desired position with the supplied mini-tool and a simple hand movement.

Excellent aluminium casing, optimum dissipation. Contrary to what is stated in the description, USB C cable supplied with standard USB adapter.
Quite an expensive product, but the price is justified.

I've been using this box for 2 years now. I've just bought a new one. I really like the way it looks and it's quite pleasant to hold. Good heat dissipation and very robust. I've already dropped the drive and there's nothing to say.
To insert the drive, you need to remove the two screws, insert the drive and screw in a small screw.
I would recommend this product. Good build quality, in use it's great and works well.
Supplied with a usb a/usb c cable and a usb c/usb c cable.
