Very useful when you have a PC without a 5.25-inch slot. I had a PC case with a Blu-ray player that still works. I fitted it easily into this external case and it still works just as well under Linux Mint.

The screws and screwdriver are supplied, so you can easily install a Blu-ray player and CD-DVD burner combo.
Connection to the PC via usb 3 or usb type "C" (the adapter is an integral part of the cable).
Very good product. Good quality casing and screws (screwdriver included). Quick assembly. Ideal for me who wanted to transform my internal blu ray burner into an external burner. Once plugged in, my Windows 10 PC recognised it immediately. Simplicity itself! I'll have to wait and see, but for the moment it works perfectly. I'd definitely recommend it.
This is a good product that allows you to convert an optical BR/DVD/CD player into an external drive.
The assembly is simple, the material is solid and the cable is USB type A and C.
The drive is recognized immediately and the speed is as if mounted internally (thanks to the speed of USB 3.2).
