I'd have gone for even more terabytes, but it was too expensive, which is a shame. Nevertheless, it's a great breath of fresh air for storing archives on an overloaded main machine, or rather a formerly overloaded machine, thanks to toshi'! The toshi HDD is your friend.
Easy to set up and get up and running.
However, a detailed installation guide might be useful for those who know a little less about it.
Wanting to test another Seagate brand, I took this model. The speed is good for a hard drive, but if your PC is quiet at rest it will be heard: both the rotation of the platters (especially when they stop and start again depending on the Windows power mode) and the read head.
This is still a good value for money drive. (count 4 stars out of 5 if the noise could bother you)
