Good product but BEWARE OF SCREWS!!!
I am writing this review in order to warn future buyers. Be very careful when unscrewing the 2 screws from the case with the screwdriver included in the box! The tip of the tool/screws are not very good and I screwed one of them up right from the start. I'll spare you my anger at the time because catching this kind of screw in this configuration is almost impossible. I almost ended up with an unusable case.
I therefore advise you to take a screwdriver with a better defined head or else to be really meticulous when unscrewing.
Besides, a second set of screws is provided, so I guess they had planned this (I still salute the initiative).
That being said, the case is sober and pleasing to the eye.
I installed a Textorm BM5 2TB SSD. I connected it to the PC via the supplied cable and formatted it on Windows 10 from the disk manager like a conventional SATA disk. The capacity is 1.86TB in NTFS.
The advertised data rates are respected, sequentially peaking at just over 450 MB/s read, 430 MB/s write. Average around 400 MB/s.
Resting temperature 34-36°C, under load 50-55°C.
Nothing else to report for the moment, to be seen in the long term now. Good product though, decent price for an aluminium case with a USB type C port.
