This StarTech. com designed enclosure allows you to use your M.2 SATA drive as an ultra-fast external storage solution via a USB 3.1 Gen 2 connection and is ideal for your MacBook, Dell XPS, Chromebook Pixel or other USB Type-C device. It's compact, easy to carry and gives you high-speed access to your data wherever you are. The built-in 15.2 cm USB-C cable means you're always ready to plug it in, without having to worry about carrying a cable with you. Made of sturdy aluminium, this case combines plastic and aluminium and is particularly robust to protect your M.2 SATA SSD. In addition, it has built-in ventilation that improves heat dissipation to keep your drive at a suitable operating temperature. Convenient, easy to use, this enclosure supports common M.2 SATA SSDs and multiple drive lengths including: 42mm (2242), 60mm (2260) and 80mm (2280). Finally, it is compatible with USB-C host devices but also with USB-C Thunderbolt 3 ports.
