The QNAP TS-451D2 NAS with Intel Celeron Dual-Core Processor allows you to enjoy a high-quality multimedia experience.Video transcoding and HDMI 2.0 output allow the TS-451D2 to support direct playback of multimedia content on TVs and monitors. Dual-Core Celeron Processor
The TS-451D2 supports SATA 6 Gbps drives and features a 2.0 GHz (2.9 GHz in burst mode) Intel Celeron J4025 dual-core processor. It is equipped with 2 GB or 4 GB of DDR4 So-Dimm and there are two memory slots which allow for expansion up to 8 GB. With Intel AES-NI encryption engine, the TS-451D2 provides unmatched encryption performance with AES-256-bit encryption acceleration, which boosts system performance while ensuring the security of sensitive business data stored in the NAS.
Media Server and Video Transcoding
The shallow TS-451D2 can easily be placed in a media cabinet. By installing Plex Media Server from QTS App Center, you can stream media files stored on the TS-451D2 to mobile and streaming media devices (including DLNA, Roku, Amazon Fire TV and Google Chromecast). Also, the TS-451D2 includes advanced Intel UHD Graphics 600 that supports hardware decoding and real-time transcoding, allowing you to convert videos into universal file formats that can be played smoothly on multiple devices.
Multi-point file backup, access and synchronisation
The TS-451D2 stores data and files centrally and supports popular file sharing protocols, including SMB/CIFS, AFP and NFS for Windows, Mac and Linux/UNIX devices. Combined with Qsync (a feature that turns a QNAP NAS into a secure, high-capacity data centre for file synchronisation), any file uploaded to the TS-451D2 will be made available to all connected devices, such as computers, laptops, or mobile devices. Hybrid Backup Sync allows you to easily backup or synchronize data to other QNAP NAS, remote servers, or cloud storage for easy disaster recovery. In addition, QuDedup technology greatly improves the efficiency of multi-version backup on the destination storage, while optimizing storage utilization. You can install the QuDedup extraction tool on your computer and restore deduplicated files to their normal state.
Secure your installations
QVR Pro allows you to arrange a dedicated and independent storage space to monitor data on the TS-451D2 and to take advantage of the benefits of scalable NAS storage. It greatly simplifies camera management, storage allocation, live camera viewing and playback. Supporting over 5,000 IP cameras (including industry-standard fisheye cameras), QVR Pro offers 8 free licensed channels for surveillance as well as the optional QVR Pro Camera Channel Expansion License for broader security deployment. You can also use the QVR Pro Client mobile app to monitor at any time, or use a USB webcam as an ONVIF network camera with the QUSBCam2 app.
