Qualitative, but not easy to put on

Bought this mainly to add a 3rd m2 pci express port to my MSI Z370 gaming pro carbon.
Replaced my 2 x 500gb M2 Nvme & SATA SSDs with 2 x M2 NvMe in 2TB and my old 500gb samsung nvme on the said card all perfectly recognized by my motherboard.
        The positive points:
        - I can also use both ports at the same time.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the M2 sata port on the motherboard and the nvme port on the pci express port on the cm.
        Negative points:
        - The 2 brackets provided (small and large) are a pain in the ass to put in, you have to place the card at an angle and then press to get the leds in.
        - The system of maintenance of the dissipators with elastics in I don't know what silicone or rubber it is badly done; to see in the time
        - I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the two ports at the same time, but if it's just one, it's not a good idea to use the other.
        - It's more expensive but I would recommend SSDs with a heatsink for the nvme port

I'd like to check if this type of slot exists on the layout of your motherboard.
The product is good, but you need to reserve a Sata cable to make it work.

        Simple and effective

Easily installed on an MSI B150M motherboard without M2 port and after updating the bios.
Combined with a SanDisk Extreme PRO® M.2 NVMe 3D SSD on which the old hdd was cloned.
A good upgrade for an aging PC and for a cheap price.
        No French manual.

        A successful PC upgrade

Installed without a problem but you have to take the time to look at the pictures and in particular the picture on the box is the only one really usable. I put it in an (old) 2012 Z77 Extreme4 card on the PCIE3 slot with a Samsung 970 PRO 1TB NVME. I installed a new Bios as Asrock added NVMe support in 2018. Kudos to Asrock by the way for maintaining their Bios 6 years after the release of their motherboard!!!

Works well, but the usage is dual and distinct: PCIE on bus, and SATA acec cable

Works well, but the usage is double and distinct: 1) M2 PCIE3 card on PCIE bus* , 2) M2 SATA card connected to a SATA port of the PC ( mechanical support only ) .

        Incomplete description on the site

        Perfect!

It's easy to mount on a PCIE port, and the big advantage is the M2 connector which allows you to put two SSDs in M2 format (1x NVme and 1x SATA).
You can therefore afford to upgrade your configuration for a small fee, you just have to pay attention to the type of SSD, for Nvme or Sata the M2 connection is slightly different, (Sata will require connecting an appropriate cable on the motherboard), but that said, it is well indicated on the adapter where to connect the SSDs depending on their format.
The thermal paste and the heat sinks are a real plus.
I'm not sure if it's a good idea to use the adapter for the first time, but it's a good idea to use it for the second time.
The whole thing works at first boot, without flinching under Win10, like a conventional hard disk, with the performance of the SSD in addition!

good product but why so much light?????

The product is well made, but when in use the leds on the back only flash which is particularly annoying for a pc desk!
Can we manage them and remove this light pollution?

        All good

Good product for adding NVMe to a computer that does not have an M.2 port.
In my case it works well with a Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus M.2 PCIe NVMe 500GB. The heatsink fits right on the Samsung.
I was able to give a Dell Tower 5810 a boost (after updating bios to A32). For a few euros more with this product you get a slot for an extra SATA SDD drive. I haven't tested this option yet though.
