TheICY DOCK ToughArmor MB842MP-B converts an 8x or 16x PCIe expansion slot into a removable dual bay for additional M.2 NVMe SSDs, allowing you to replace M.2 NVMe SSDs without having to open the computer case. Tool-free installation of the M.2 NVMe SSD takes less than five seconds, so you don't have to worry about small screws that are easy to lose.

- Uses a PCIe 3.0/4.0 x8 or x16 slot (PCIe x4, x4, x4 for PCIe 16x and x4, x4 for PCIe 8x required to access both drives)
- Installs in a single-width, full-height PCIe Express slot
- Removable tray with tool-free installation of SSDs for easy maintenance
- Eagle-hook locking system holds and secures the SSD in the enclosure
- EMI-Grounding: protects the SSD from electrical damage
- Active-Power Technology (APT) - saves power by turning off the device when the SSD is not present
- PCIe interface provides power and data transfer to reduce cable clutter
- Included thermal pad transfers heat to the metal tray
- Optional hard drive activity signal output allows you to transfer the activity signal to the computer case
