The Nighthawk RAXE300 is powered by a Quad-Core 1.7 GHz processor that has been designed for ultimate performance. This ultra-fast processor allows the router to seamlessly handle data-intensive applications such as 4K/8K UHD video streaming, VR/AR gaming, as well as provide a stronger and more reliable Wi-Fi experience. This powerful processor is optimised to make intelligent, spontaneous decisions that serve to schedule data traffic but also maximise Wi-Fi bandwidth usage.
The Netgear Nighthawk AX7800 Router can handle 8 Wi-Fi streams (four in the 2.4 GHz band and eight in the 5 GHz band) offering four times the capacity of a 2x2 AC Wi-Fi router. More Wi-Fi streams per band greatly increases the amount of data the router sends and receives to and from connected devices. The more bandwidth available, the fewer bottlenecks there are in the network. 4K streaming, gaming and all bandwidth intensive uses will be possible with the AX7800 Wi-Fi.
The Netgear Nighthawk app makes it easy to set up and maintain your AX Wi-Fi router and get the most out of your Wi-Fi. With the app available for Android and iOS, you do the setup of your hardware in a few steps, just connect your mobile device to the Nighthawk and the app takes care of the rest. I replaced my old TP-LINK router, an Archer vr2800, with this one and I can assure you that you'll feel the difference enormously, whether in terms of throughput, management of workstations or signal strength. If your budget allows, I highly recommend it. What's more, in terms of aesthetics, you'll have nothing to be ashamed of.
