The Nighthawk 6-Stream AX5400 WiFi 6 Router (RAX50) supports the new 802.11AX Wi-Fi standard (Wi-Fi 6). Designed to provide up to four times the data transfer capacity of previous standards, the AX5400 AX6 Wireless Router features advanced technologies such as OFDMA, MU-MIMO, 160MHz channel support and 1024 QAM to deliver a highly efficient network.
The Nighthawk AX6 is equipped with a 1.5 GHz Triple Core processor. It offers the best performance for streaming, smooth browsing, lag-free online gaming and much more. In fact, it's designed to transfer gigabits of data with minimal processor load. 160MHz channel support doubles the speed offered by 80MHz channels to deliver Gigabit to compatible devices.

Netgear's Nighthawk AX6 router can handle 4 Wi-Fi streams (two in the 2.4GHz band and as many in the 5GHz band) that offer twice the capacity of a 2x2 AC Wi-Fi router. Increasing the Wi-Fi stream per band greatly increases the amount of data the router sends and receives to and from connected devices. The more bandwidth available, the fewer bottlenecks there are in the network. The Nighthawk AX6 offers a constant and powerful signal to multiple devices at the same time.
