I bought this router to completely replace my Bbox Fibre. I had to use the MAC address of the Bbox and after 2 hours of tinkering and reading on the dedicated forums, I was able to get rid of my Bbox to get internet and TV through this router. The interface is not very modern but it does the job. The performance is good, nothing to complain about on the Wifi 5 or 6. A bit expensive but I think you pay for the aesthetics and compactness.
Installed in 2 min. with the same name as the previous one, so nothing has changed on my connected devices. Incredible range, 3 floors with reinforced concrete (for only 1 router), I removed all my old mesh repeaters (which do not speak mesh with the asus). Super stable. Too happy.
Bought a GT AX 11000 to cover a large house in I Meish. Easy to install with ASUS interface. Top speed
The product is very easy to install and set up (a few minutes via the ASUS ROUTER application to be downloaded onto your smartphone). It replaces very effectively the WIFI of my Internet box which was unstable in terms of speed (70m² flat in length). Today it remains very stable and high enough to connect several devices at the same time. On a fibre speed measured at 300mb in RJ45 cable, the wifi speed is now at 250mb mini in the main room which is excellent. At a distance of 15/20m, it is still very good for browsing and watching streaming videos (40/50mb).
I have not yet tested the advanced features of the router (simple use in addition to the Box for the WIFI part)
It's a great product that I can recommend without hesitation.
