Very good inverter. Does its job.
I bought this inverter a few days ago. It perfectly matches my expectations.
I connect all my living room equipment to it.
It is particularly useful to resist the occasional micro power cuts or momentary blackouts, in order to secure my Nas Synology DS220+.
The advantages :
- Compact, easy to install and plug in.
Sound signal in case of power outage and this until recovery.
- Usb cable provided to connect the UPS to a PC or nas to indicate its status and remaining battery life.
- Warning on the Synology DS Finder mobile application when the UPS goes into battery mode and the remaining battery life.
I'm at 1 hour with only the Nas on versus 20 minutes with the TV and orange set-top box on.
The disadvantages :
- Although it is compact, it is rather imposing, which is normal because it is equipped with a battery.
This is more of a technical constraint to be taken into account when purchasing.
It takes up little space on the living room table.
- I don't have a lot of technical explanations on how it works. A bit complicated if you are new to electricity.
The pictures can help but are not enough.
- The sound signal of the inverter is a bit weak, you can hardly hear it if you are two rooms away.
For the durability of the battery, it remains to be seen.
I expect it to last at least 3 years.
I'd like to see a drawing on how to change the battery, even if I imagine it's not too complicated. But it's lead and acid anyway?
