I ordered this helmet in 2020. After 4 years and thousands of hours of use, it's still as comfortable and satisfying as ever. However, there are a few points that I feel could be improved. The microphone broke after a year and a half (LDLC were very good and sent me another one with the return of the broken one), and the imitation leather on the headband (the top) is starting to deteriorate. The cable is a bit short too.
The headset is comfortable and practical (removable microphone, cable extension...).
The main drawback remains a saturation of the hp which can quickly occur if you work with sound spectrums at high output levels.
It can be used, without any problem, for gaming but remains a bit more limited for sound work.
However, it remains a good product that can be a good initial investment.
The mute button of the microphone has already shown its limits after 3 days of use.
If you have large ears and are not able to stand up, I would not recommend it as it will end up hurting your ears.
Good quality helmet. Light on the head and in terms of sound quality, one word: excellent. For those who record and mix, in terms of clarity and dynamics, for hours on end, these headphones are a great tool. And as always, LDLC is impeccable in every respect.
It is a very good headset that can be used anywhere.
The microphone works very well and the material is very good, it is very pleasant to wear without having a headache.
