Overview

Performance and silence

As the successor to the 11 series, the Arctic Alpine 12 CO will provide you with optimal cooling while keeping noise levels incredibly low. With high thermal conductivity and particularly thin cooling fins, you'll have particularly efficient heat dissipation.

0 dB mode for perfect silence

The Alpine 12 CO can switch to passive silent mode when the PWM signal is below 5% due to its new motor. This allows you to work on your PC in complete silence without any unwanted noise.

It is equipped with an updated motor and works much more efficiently than its predecessors.
Due to the sinusoidal magnetisation, the new motor creates only 5% of the vibrations resulting from the switching of an ordinary DC motor. These factors help to save energy, lower coil temperature and minimise vibration without compromising performance.

Improved ball bearing for continuous operation

"CO" stands for Continuous Operation and makes this heatsink suitable for continuously running computers such as servers. The Japanese double ball bearing used in this CO fan reduces friction during rotation considerably, is significantlyless sensitive to dust and high temperatures, making it 5 times more durable than other bearings.

    Do the job.

Efficient Ventirad. It's a bit noisy, but considering the price, it's normal.
In any case, nothing to complain about. Excellent value for money.

As always: LDLC at the top. It has not changed since the beginning.

I can't mount it on my PC

I can't fit it on my HP PC, so I have to keep my old fan. The plastic pins do not fit into the screw holes.

    Installation and first impressions

I am not a fan of 10 out of 10 after 1 hour of use. I am not a fan of the 10 out of 10 after 1 hour of use, but the product is as described.
The installation was easy, I watched a tutorial on youtube not to do anything wrong.
At full speed the noise is quite decent, I can even say that it remains rather quiet.
