Overview

H7 Quad Lumi: an RGB cooler with 4 heatpipes

The H7 Quad Lumiis based on the award-winning H7 bestseller. In addition to the addition of the optimized RGB system, the H7 Quad Lumi from CRYORIG includes an additional high-performance heat pipe and support for the Intel LGA 2011v3 socket. In short, the H7 Quad Lumi is a powerful RGB fan, but also a powerful H7 fan with 4 heatpipes! These 4 ingenious heatpipes, including 1 additional one compared to the H7, allow it to be 15% more efficient in terms of cooling than the CRYORIG H7.

Powerful, silent and bright fan

Equipped with a 120mm diameter QF120 LED Balance fan (white LED) that produces a good 59 CFM airflow, the CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi also has acoustics tuned to performance. That's why the QF120 LED Balance 120 mm fan incorporates a low-noise, high-precision high precision low noise bearing (HPLN ) and removable acoustic vibration absorbers that give the fan a perfect fit while suppressing vibration and noise.

By using a wider air inlet and a narrower air exhaust section on the fins, the hot air is compressed to move faster as it exits the radiator. The Jet Fin Acceleration System technology removes hot air from the system faster and more efficiently.

The H7 Quad Lumi is an RGB fan that will enhance your setup. It includes an NZXT CAM control module. With this additional controller, the H7 Quad Lumi can be controlled via a complete dedicated software. With it you can manage its colour change, light effects and even fan settings.

Extreme cooling efficiency

The H7 Quad Lumi has been designed to solve heat sink size limitations. It is a compact heatsink model with a height of only 145mm. It is one of the smallest heatsinks on the market with a 120mm fan. It will fit easily into almost any PC case. It features CRYORIG 's exclusive Quad Air Inlet technology which gives it extra airflow at all four corners of the frame for even more impressive cooling efficiency.

The H7 Quad Lumi 's Convex-Align system allows for more heatpipes (4 for this H7 Quad Lumi model) in a given area, optimised heatpipe positioning in the copper base and better alignment with your CPU. With this Convex-Align system, each heat pipe operates at its maximum capacity.

The CRYORIG H7 Quad Lumi has a specially designed width and length to comply with the "CPU Keep Out Zone" a design guideline set by both Intel and AMD. This zone around the CPU allows for a perfect fit, without the risk of interference to your RAM strips.

X-Bar mounting system, fast, easy and secure

The patent-pending X-Bar quick mounting system follows the renowned design of the CRYORIG mounting system. It is a fast and secure solution for Intel and AMD platforms. The X-Bar system's dedicated backplate is made of glass-fibre reinforced PBT for superior tensile strength and heat resistance. It is more easily recyclable than other plastics. The backplate protects the motherboard from excessive stresses that may arise from the mounted heat sink and also provides a solid base for a quick and secure installation.

    Update notice

After exchanges with the after-sales service (super reactive 10/10 !!) and some tweaks found on YouTube :
    - the mounting is apparently "secured" by fixing the ventirad on the bracket. In my case it was not possible because the bracket is prevented by direct contact (the bracket is amber) with the CM. Maybe because of the ITX format.
After using an alternative mounting system (stock plate + risers from an old ventirad) :
    - the bracket still touches some parts of the CM but at least it is fixed (bracket is straight). Maybe provide some rubber pads to gain a few millimetres.
    - effective temperature drop => [35° - 40°] in idle, [55° - 57°] under load, with a Noctua A12x25 PWM fan for quietness. At these temperatures the original fan runs at 100% and is audible.
For this improvement I give it the average.

Damaged material in a nice box!

LDLC has nothing to do with this! They are always at the top!
Regarding the Quad Lumni... Extremely disappointed with the hardware. Everything was conform except the material... The manufacturing defect is blatant! Maybe a bad series... Twisted Ventirad, open thermal paste, cheap decorative plastic, AMD ring not really compatible on an itx, it was moving in all directions... Anyway... All this in beautifully sealed boxes! Anyway. Times are in idle or load at 75° it's hot... too hot !
I will kindly go back to Noctua.
