Both practical and attractive
The keyboard is pleasant to use, and its palm rest is practical and comfortable. The sound of the keys and their colours are appealing. I have been using it for a year now and have not encountered any problems so far.
The Pure Rock 2 Black is designed for powerful multimedia and gaming configurations that want to be, and remain, silent. It has a great black design and offers excellent value for money with a cooling efficiency of 150 W TDP, four 6 mm heatpipes and a Pure Wings 2 120 mm PWM fan . Its design has been thought out for practical mounting from the top of the motherboard.

The Pure Rock 2 Black is equipped with four 6 mm heatpipes fitted with aluminium caps. These ensure efficient cooling by directing heat to the optimum locations on the fins.
The Pure Rock 2 is equipped with a 120 mm PWM fan with a high-quality plain bearing that offers the best balance between cooling performance and silent operation. The fan's 9 blades are optimised to reduce the noise generated by turbulence.
Its asymmetrical design does not block memory spaces. This saves space and makes the Pure Rock 2 compatible with a wide range of RAM memories. It's also very practical to install: in fact, it's easy to mount on top of the motherboard. Finally, it benefits from a high-quality brushed aluminium finish and is fitted with aluminium caps that ensure it looks good from all angles.

it does the job but a little downside if you have a graphics card Rtx the location of plugs for hard drives are poorly positioned a little trouble! but also no nothing to complain very good equipment. and as always very well packaged by LDLC!
My machine was starting to get a bit hot. Since I changed the ventirad, it's even better than the original. What's more, there's no noise compared to the original ventirad!
This is my very first setup (I chose the parts myself and put it together on my own), it's very gratifying to see the result and I'm even a little surprised that it performs so well (I opted for a setup that was balanced in terms of my different needs). It took a long time to assemble, but everything went well and I'm happy to have a PC that lets me do what I want.
Very good ventilation and good cooling overall, but be careful with placement, I had CPU heat peaks but by repositioning the ventirad a little I achieved the target temperatures. You have to be very careful with the mounting
Bought to cool a AMD Ryzen 5 9600X (TDP 65W, but LDLC recommends considering 90W), it's very quiet and doesn't heat up much even when I'm playing with the Ryzen graphics chip. I'm very happy with my choice.
This is very good for cooling a PC. I highly recommend it.
BEFORE THIS VENTIRAD I had an ENERMAX ETS-N31 for a max TDP managed of 130W with a RYZEN 7 5700X (65w TDP announced but 95 W real). CPU temperature difference (before/after) minus 10 to 15°c less in gaming, i.e. 60°C/55°C max with 22°c in the room / EFFECTIVE COOLING THEREFORE in a well ventilated case with 4 fans 120mn black fractal focus G case / I'm waiting to see this summer at 26°c in the room / For the assembly I called in the LDLC Vienne shop / Fast and reliable assembly by a professional team / may not be suitable for overclocking / very quiet
For another Ryzen 7 7500X-based configuration.
The price is reasonable given the level of performance, and in fact it's much better than an AIO 240 or higher.
What's more, the matt black colour scheme is a real eye-catcher.
Bought for a discrete configuration and as quiet as possible, the fan is almost inaudible even in game. Simple mount, well-written instructions. The termic paste is already applied, which is a plus for a beginner.
