Performance and Efficiency
- Online double conversion topology. The Eaton 9SX inverter insulates the connected equipment against all disturbances of the electrical network by constantly regulating voltage and frequency.
- Up to 95% efficiency in online double conversion mode. The 9SX has the highest efficiency in its class and reduces energy and cooling costs.
- With a power factor of 0.9, the 9SX provides 28% more power in watts than most other inverters in its class.
Availability and Flexibility
- Its internal bypass ensures continuity of service in the event of a UPS fault. The batteries are hot-swappable from the front panel, without interrupting the power supply to the connected equipment.
- With its convertible rack/tower format, the 9SX can be installed in any environment (rack kit supplied as standard).
- Intelligent battery management with Eaton's ABM technology that recharges the batteries only when needed: avoids corrosion and gives them up to 50% longer life.
- Its autonomy can be extended from a few minutes to several hours by installing external battery boxes (up to 12) that can be hot-swapped. These batteries are automatically detected by the UPS, without user intervention.
Flexibility of use
- Its new multilingual graphic LCD display provides clear information on the status of the UPS. The display can be oriented to provide the best possible view in rack or tower configuration.
- The 9SX can measure power consumption and manage kWh through the LCD display or through Intelligent Power, Eaton's power management software.
- Load segment control allows battery life to be reserved for critical equipment. It can also be used to remotely restart stalled IT equipment or perform sequential shutdowns and restarts.
- The 9SX offers a USB port, serial port and dry contacts as standard, as well as a slot for an optional card (the network card is included as standard in the Netpack versions).
- It comes with Eaton's power management software, Intelligent Power
