I bought this box after replacing an HDD with an SSD. I wanted to use the HDD as a storage drive. I had difficulty installing the HDD in the box (I must not have read the specifications and dimensions carefully).
The case is closed by 4 screws which makes it difficult to dismantle and use to recover data from an old drive.
Second one I've bought. Easy to assemble and reliable so far.
Ideal for storage and easy to transport.

Does not fit well around the small hard drive I bought it for.
With the screws on all 4 sides it seems to fit better but in the middle there is a nice opening on each side.
It's a good idea to have it in the back of the case.
I have to say that this is one of the best products I have ever bought.
I am disappointed with the product, another model next time!
Mounting is easy.
It is simple to use (as are most external enclosures).
It seems to be perfectly resistant to regular use and transport, to be confirmed over time.
Bought to install a 1TB SATA SSD, to make a powerful mass storage, and cheap.
SSD installation super easy. The data rates are phenomenal. Nothing to do with classic HD.
With an SSD it becomes ultra nomadic without risk of crashing the HDD heads during transport and also ultra light. I recommend it!
I was expecting a more robust case but it still protects well. Easy to mount around the hard drive.
The case is well designed, the rubber does its job, in the right place.
My only regret is the specific cable that comes with the case... I don't have another one like that one!
My HDD is 9mm, and I didn't see that it was for 7mm and as the packaging is made to be destroyed by opening it, no way to bring it back but no worries if you are a handyman a few lugs to pop and it's cool.
I like the solidity, and the storage of the cable on the side of the case.

I changed the hard drive in my laptop to an ssd. This box allows me to use it again and to have a storage capacity cheaper than the ssd.
I gave it an 8/10 because it lets a small day pass. It's a good idea to use it again. I have to say that it is a very good product, but it is a very good product.
