I've installed a good quality disk on my Lenovo laptop to replace a damaged disk! but this internal disk is much better than the old one! it allows me to transfer from a USB key to the PC "USB 3" of 40 mo/s which is very convenient for me!

I ordered a hard drive to replace the one in an old laptop. On the phone, the employee was very friendly and helpful. I wanted to pick up the drive in shop so I wouldn't have to pay shipping costs. However, this option did not exist for the shop near me, and there, I could not reach a person mid-morning for help, and I could not find any information elsewhere. Once I received the disc, quickly (ordered Saturday midday, received the following Wednesday), I have a large 29*7 format box in which a small cardboard box for the disc, without additional protection, and as a gift a small inflatable balloon (Thank you ??). So, I will test this disc to know if it was not damaged. Have a nice day.

Bought to complete my LDLC Aurore NI5S-8-S2 laptop, this hard disk corresponds perfectly to my expectations especially for the price.
I had bought WD drives before and found them ideal for a backup clone of my laptop. The drive is spot on and there is no choice of products and prices (not always the case where I am).

Mounted in MaxInpower enclosures sold by LDLC, the two disks I bought were not recognized right away, but according to the seller of the enclosures this is normal: they had to be "initialized" via a Windows feature.
The initialization was not a problem, except for one of the disks, but it was the case that was defective (LDLC exchanged it for me and we were able to initialize the disk).
Everything works now.
However, it is of course too early to talk about reliability/longevity, but this is an important element in the evaluation of the hardware...

It is a 2.5" 5400 rpm hard drive. The performance I was able to test is in line with the performance displayed on the LDLC website and on the online tests.
Nothing to say. No sign of performance degradation after 6 months of daily use.
Very good drive used as a replacement in a Dell precision 6400. Thinner than the original one, so had to call it with a bit of foam. Very good silent drive under windows 10. Not much more to say.

Buying for storage, this hard drive does the job perfectly. It's quiet under low load and loses some of its beauty under high load, but that's not its primary function. I installed it on a first series Playstation 4, replacing the original 500GB HDD, nothing to complain about, the WD Blue is directly recognized and the installation was done without any problem.

I did a Benchmark and got a nice score of 263MB/s on random read and 0.49ms access time. Very good drive mounted to replace the 500gb PS4 and the drive is 2x as good as the original BF1 loads faster horizon etc...

I took it to change a failed hard drive from an old ASUS R751JB-TY013H. The drive was adapted and compliant. I have been using it for a month now and it's working fine.

I have been using it for a day now, but is it normal to hear the sound of the drive accessing 30cm away from the laptop? I am hesitant to send it back and retract
