Toshiba's 3.5-inch S300 Surveillance Hard Drive is designed and tested to provide reliable 24/7 surveillance. It combines speed, capacity and extended content retention. With the S300 drive, you capture and analyse every high-resolution image from 32 cameras. Space is important, as it ensures that the video evidence history is captured for a defined period. With storage capacity starting at 2 TB, you can record and play back real-time events in high resolution, with object identification and facial recognition.
Designed and tested for compatibility
The S300 drive is designed and tested to support up to 32 high-resolution cameras, and to match your security camera systems. Compatible with digital video recorders, network video recorders, video servers and video management systems, it ensures always-on security. Surveillance is always on and you can rest easy.
Top performance
The 256 MB buffer and high transfer speeds meet the data monitoring demands of high-resolution camera streams. Toshiba Dynamic Cache Technology improves real-time drive performance by optimising cache allocation during the read/write cycle with an on-board cache algorithm and buffer management system.
Integrated VR Sensors
Conventional hard disk drives without RV sensors can degrade the performance of a multi-bay system by generating harmful vibration. The S300 drive ensures high reliability by reducing vibration through monitoring and sensor technology. Numerous sensors detect even the slightest shock, and built-in RV sensors compensate for rotational vibration, limiting the risk of harmful vibration in multi-bay monitoring systems.
High endurance and reliability
The high endurance and high reliability components of the S300 drive are resistant to harsh environments. High-temperature environments trigger optimised seek speeds to reduce power consumption while reducing noise emissions and vibration.
