When the META VOICE microphone is detached, the augmented mode microphones are activated and used to record your voice.     Best gaming microphone

    A great success overall, Beyerdynamic never disappoints:

    Positives :
    - overall sound quality without equaliser
    - solidity
    - overall comfort, not that heavy, at least you don't feel the weight
    - the BEST MICROPHONE found on a gaming headset to date, without a doubt
    - Pads very easy to change, magnetic system

    Negatives :
    - no equaliser provided, so no adjustments possible (voicemeeter or other software may be useful)
    - price a bit high

    If you can afford it, go for it, it's a basic gaming headset, no fuss, no frivolous options or anything else, it's there to connect to your PC and enjoy, and it does that very well!
