The Designed by GG Ironclad v2 is a high-end mechanical keyboard that offers you the possibility to hot-swap switches. This new version (v2) offers you full compatibility with 3 and 5 pin switches. By replacing the solder with an armature that makes electrical contact, the Ironclad v2 offers the ability to replace any switch by simply unclipping it and reclipping another. Not only can you customise to your liking, but you can also extend the life of the switch indefinitely by replacing only the most heavily used switches.
The Designed by GG Ironclad v2 is designed to be as comfortable as possible. Each switch in the keyboard has been lubricated with PFPE grease, improving glide, reducing noise and, most importantly, eliminating the resonance of mechanical keyboards. The PFPE-lubricated stabilizers, damped by a silicone pad, do not reflect any metallic echo. The noisy space bar will be a memory from another era.
And the PBT keys offer you increased resistance to abrasion. Unlike ABS keys, PBT is chemically inert and does not develop a greasy texture after prolonged contact with the skin. The key lettering is thermoformed. The letters on the keys are not just etched into the surface paint, but are formed by a plastic structure, running through the entire shell. This method guarantees that the lettering will last over time. With a thickness of 1.4mm instead of the standard 0.8mm, these keys are also much more durable.
The Ironclad v2 features customised and optimised switches, the Red Blood. Using a tenth of a micron-tuned mould and plastic from the German giant BASF, they offer perfect stability when typing. Delicately lubricated with Demon Blood, a PFPE-based grease, the Red Blood offers a virtually frictionless glide.
This makes them the ideal choice for people who want silence and fatigue-free typing.

the IRONCLAD V2 is good but the stabiliser lacks precision, especially for the space bar.
the white is messy but with a little regular cleaning no worries. moreover after 1 years the keyboard has no trace of wear despite very regular use.
for me, the only real fault is the factory lubrication, which isn't that good.
